ESKBANK DEPOT CLEAN UP MARCH 20 2013
Today the Eskbank Rail Heritage Centre played host to 20 plus senior
Railcorp managers and engineers who were taking part in a team building
and leadership program. As part of that course participants were
required to undertake some community work. After a number of weeks in
planning the Eskbank Depot clean up was selected to be their main focus.
The day proved to be most benificial to the participants as it was for
the preservation of the site and has moved our clean up of the area
forward by many weeks. As can be seen from the pictures a tremendous
amount of work was achieved today. A special thanks goes out to Railcorp
for giving our project the tick, Tim Elderton for liason with Railcorp
and arranging all the work packages, to Chris Ray of Christopher Ray Landscaping and Excavating for arranging to have his
equipment on hand to help remove the rubbish and fill, to our Verto
Group and LSMR volunteers . Finally a special thanks to Delta
Electricity for making available a marque for the day.
